Auckland Fancy Women Bike Ride

Fancy. Fierce. Fun.
You are invited to join the Auckland fancy women bike ride on Sunday, September 17th!
Because women can change the world, and the bicycle can help.
Fancy women bike ride is an event for women, organized by women to call for infrastructure and inspiration.
The more women who cycle, the more women will be encouraged to cycle.
Don’t forgot to use #fwbrakl23 for all your photos!
The route:
Please be at “domain wintergardens” at 1pm and please don't be late.
We will kick off the ride at 1pm from the stunning domain wintergardens. Pedaling over the iconic Grafton bridge, we will make our way to the vibrant and eclectic Karangahape road. We will then capture picture-perfect moments when we cycle along the lightpath | te ara i whiti. The journey will end at silo park where we will have some refreshments.

Guidelines:
- dress code: fancy, fierce, fabulous (whatever makes you feel beautiful, strong and great!)
- decorate your bicycle, pose for the cameras and take selfies, greet & smile at people during the ride.
- be inclusive to all women and support those new to cycling.
- bring your friends, mothers, aunties and sisters and be prepared for a magical afternoon.

No registration required. You just need a bike.
Men can join so long as they ride with us, not ahead of us. We ask men to dress up as well.
The term women in fwbr and all associated references is inclusive of all who self identify as a woman.
Non-binary - all of the above recommendations and continued emphasis on dressing up.
Children are welcome so long as they are capable of riding a bike by themselves.
Dogs on leads welcome!
@ridebeamnz has kindly offered us some free bikes. If you need one, please let us know beforehand so that we can reserve one for you as the numbers are limited.
