Aurora Energy Otago Science and Technology Fair 2023

Our annual science and technology fair is always packed with fascinating projects. It encourages Year 7 to 13 school students throughout Otago to expand their scientific and technological thinking through planning, carrying out, and presenting their own original experiments.

With approximately 280 high-quality and innovative entries there will be topics to pique everyone’s interests.
Last years’ topics have ranged from hands-free solving of Rubik’s cubes, the speed of sound in various objects, and biodegradable starch-based plastics.

Prize-giving is expected to be in the St David Lecture Theatre Sunday, 20 August from 3pm – 4pm.
