Bike Hub Mount Roskill Blindzone Workshop

This event will be located in the carpark on the corner of Gifford Ave and Sandringham rd Extension
Get your hands behind a big rig to spot blindzones in this workshop to build rider confidence in sharing the road with trucks, buses and large vehicles.
Once you have done this workshop you will remember:
where to place yourself and your bike (or vehicle) so a truck driver can see you and that it is better to overtake a truck on the right
you will know:
-that trucks may move straight forward from a stop before turning, to clear a corner.
-that heavy vehicles' bodies will swing wide of their wheel tracks
-that heavy vehicles’ rear axles may turn up to 2m ‘tighter’ than front axles
