Birds of Ōtari-Wilton's Bush

The Ōtari-Wilton's Bush Trust's annual programme of Sunday guided walks offers the opportunity to explore with the experts, discover where all these special things live and learn more about them and what’s being done to protect them.

This week's walk is all about birds. Join one of New Zealand’s foremost ornithologists, Dr Hugh Robertson (Principal Science Advisor, Department of Conservation), on this always popular walk to find and learn about the wonderful variety of native birds who visit and live in Ōtari-Wilton’s Bush.

Easy walking although sensible walking shoes are recommended. Family groups are welcome.
Meet at the Ōtari Visitor Centre, Tāne Whakapiripiri at 2pm.
