Who said the boardroom was just for those with decades of corporate experience? Young professionals can add a tonne of value in the boardroom, whether in not-for-profits or corporates. Whether you're feeling inspired by the latest season of Succession, are planning to start your own business, or just want to contribute outside of your day job to organisations that align with your values, we're here to help.

This interactive session will cover everything you need to know about getting started in governance and landing your first Board position. Board chair Aaminah Ghani and experts from the Institute of Directors will share their own stories and undertake a helpful workshop that answers your questions and equips you with the tools you need to get started on your own journey.

Questions covered will include:

- What is governance, and what does a governance career look like?
- How can you as a young person land a Board role?
- How to navigate the politics of the boardroom
- What is a governance CV, and what do you include in one?
- How can you find mentors and organisations to help you on your journey?
- How do you pick the right Board positions for you?
- and much more!

As this is a workshop-style session, there are limited spots available, so get your tickets now to ensure you don't miss out.
