Bonfire at Esther is set to cast an ethereal glow upon a divine evening of festivities. As the fire starts to burn, and the flames flicker towards the starry night sky, Chef Sean Connolly will be setting the scene to otherworldly.
Surround an open flame where stories of conquest and adventure erupt over a smoke-infused four course dinner, paired with generous pours of Man O War wine, Waiheke’s nectar of the gods. A feast of the finest ingredients, gathered from our bountiful lands and seas, prepared over the coals, on the bone and in the shell. Passion and care are complemented with back to basics cooking techniques, using only fire and the best local ingredients.
Enjoy the spirit of the evening engulfed in a beacon of warmth, as mulled wine overflows as freely as the fire-twirling performances, and the campfire chorus of live entertainment echoes over the glowing embers of crackling fire pits.
