Botany Election Forum

Election forum is a Howick Youth Council run event designed to give election candidates from our local area a chance to meet local youth, make their case, and respond to youth-oriented questions and concerns. While we promote the event heavily to local young people, our successful candidates' forums for previous Local Board elections attracted a diverse range of local residents. Candidates will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the electorate and talk about their proposed stance on certain issues by responding to questions posed by our experienced moderators.
