Join us in celebrating 25 years of Brainwave trust, with a three-course fine–dining experience at Peter Gordon’s Homeland Restaurant — The Food Embassy for Aotearoa & The Pacific. At Brainwave Trust, our kaupapa is to do what we can to ensure every child gets a good start in life, in a safe, secure and nurturing environment. This year Brainwave celebrates 25 years since its inception. Over the years, many people have given generously of their time and efforts to strengthen Brainwave, whether as an employee, trustee or kaiako / educator. To acknowledge all of the work undertaken by the Brainwave team over the years, and importantly, our funders and donors, we will be hosting a Celebration Dinner at Homeland, in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter.

The Event:
Welcome drink on arrival. Followed by a three-course menu highlighting New Zealand local and seasonal produce.

Tickets:
We have a limited number of tickets available for purchase as a table of 8 or as individual tickets. Should you have any queries about your ticket or table please email our events team events@brainwave.org.nz.

The Cause:
Focusing on child development and wellbeing education, we explore how our tamariki develop, and how their experiences impact on their oranga, now and into the future. We do this based on science and indigenous knowledge.

The Chef:
Peter Gordon has spent over 30 years putting New Zealand ingredients on the world stage. Now he and his partner Alastair have built a food embassy, Homeland, to support New Zealand producers, buy local, and share recipes from their homelands – and tell trade stories to the world. The menu you will enjoy is a celebration of the incredible producers based in Aotearoa – from paneer made in Southland, to salt from Taipa in the north – and everything in between. Peter believes some of the best food in the world comes from our own backyard.
