Join us for a unique breathwork yoga workshop where we blend the powerful practices of yoga with specific breathing techniques. Our aim is to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, the body's natural "rest-and-digest" response, which brings about deep relaxation, healing, and a sense of well-being.

Throughout this workshop, you can explore and experience a wide range of breathwork exercises and yoga postures carefully curated to enhance your breath awareness and control.

The 2-hour workshop includes the following components:

- Introduction
- Yogic breathing
- Yoga asana (postures)
- Pranayama (breath control)
- Bandhas (energetic locks)
- Yoga Nidra (guided meditation)
- Mudras (hand gestures)
- Mantras (sacred sounds)

At the start of the workshop, we provide an introduction that emphasizes the significance of breath in yoga and its profound impact on our overall well-being. The instructor will delve into the benefits of breathwork, such as stress reduction, enhanced focus, amplified energy levels, and emotional equilibrium.

Breathwork Techniques: The instructor guides participants through different breathwork techniques, such as deep diaphragmatic breathing, alternate nostril breathing, and rhythmic breath patterns. These techniques aim to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, inducing a state of relaxation and calm.

Yoga Asanas (Postures): Participants engage in a series of yoga asanas that complement the breathwork practice. These postures help open up the chest, improve lung capacity, and enhance the body's energy flow. The instructor may focus on specific asanas encouraging deep breathing and breath control.

Pranayama (breath control): Pranayama refers to the practice of controlling the breath. Participants learn and practice different pranayama techniques, such as Kapalabhati (skull-shining breath), Ujjayi (victorious breath), and Bhramari (humming bee breath). These techniques help regulate the breath and bring about a sense of calm and clarity.

Bandhas (energetic locks) or muscular contractions are practised in yoga to redirect and control the body's energy flow. Bandhas help to direct and regulate the flow of energy (prana) within the body. Engaging the bandhas can enhance energy circulation and prevent it from dissipating, allowing for a more focused and concentrated state during your yoga practice.
Yoga Nidra (guided meditation), or psychic sleep, is a guided meditation and relaxation technique that induces deep relaxation while maintaining full awareness. The practice involves systematically relaxing the body, releasing tension, and entering a state of conscious deep sleep.

Mudras (hand gestures) or symbolic positions are commonly used in yoga and meditation. By creating specific configurations with the hands and fingers, mudras help to redirect the flow of energy within the body and influence different aspects of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Mantras (sacred sounds) or words, or phrases chanted or repeated during yoga and meditation practices. They have been used for centuries to focus the mind, cultivate specific qualities, and experience deeper states of consciousness.
