What is the common name for Equus Caballus? How many Marvel cinematic universe films have been released so far? If you or your friends know, come and show off your knowledge at the Bel Canto Quiz Night! With 10 unique rounds of exciting questions it is sure to be a fun night.
Bel Canto is Burnside High School's senior auditioned treble voice choir. After being the recipient of many awards at the Big Sing Regional competition, (such as the trophy for the Best Performance of a New Zealand Work, the award for the Best Performance of a piece of 20th Century Western Art Music, and the award for the Best Performance by a Treble Voice Choir), we have been lucky enough to be selected as just one of two choirs from Christchurch to participate in the Big Sing Finale in Auckland in August this year. However, getting our 44 choir members from Christchurch to Auckland to participate in the event is very costly! Therefore, we are holding a quiz night and raffle to raise funds for our trip.
Tickets for the quiz night are $20per person to be paid in cash on the door. Food (provided by Hell's Pizza) is included in the ticket price.
Teams of up to 5 people may register using the following form: https://forms.gle/ugCdZ65vBfVKmZT28. Individuals may register too and we will do our best to place you in a team. Please do so by Monday, August 14th.
There will also be a raffle running on the evening, so bring some cash on the night to participate. 3 categories with 3 draws each, so there are 9 chances to win!
