Children are welcomed to our Buzzing with Creativity workshop designed especially for them! Let your child’s imagination take flight as they learn the basics of painting. Siobhan, our experienced tutor, will guide children through the painting process also allowing lots of individual imagination along the way.
Children will enjoy drawing and colour mixing before moving on to the fun part – applying the paint to a ‘ready to hang’ canvas! We provide all the necessary materials to ensure a fun experience. Children will be encouraged to experiment and add their own unique flair to create.
By the end of the Buzzing with Creativity workshop, each child will have a completed a canvas painting. It will be filled with black and yellow stocky bodies covered with fuzzy hairs, and they’ll probably be hanging around a flower or two! A magical masterpiece your child can proudly take home and display, while having gained valuable foundation skills in painting and we hope, a newfound appreciation for these gorgeous beings we call bees!
Our Buzzing with Creativity canvas painting workshop is the perfect holiday activity and will be a treat for children to attend. They will be encouraged to express their creativity, learn new skills and be in a supportive and nurturing environment. Siobhan has a step by step method of teaching with instructions that are appreciated by children who feel gently guided to a final artwork they are proud of.
Siobhan teaches term time courses afterschool. Making Pictures on Mondays and Drawing and Painting on Wednesdays.
Who is this workshop designed for?
This art workshop is suitable for any child +6 years.
Please do not register children under the age of 6 in this class.
What to bring?
Children should wear clothes that can get messy.
Children should bring a water bottle and snacks.
All art related materials are included in the fee.
