A fast-paced, freaky, and friendly show where the strange and mundane collide and wits are sharp enough to cause damage! Casual First Date tear apart true stories inspired by a single word from the audience and put them back together as 100% improvised scenes and sketches.
Five years ago, a group of pals put on their first improv show. Since then, they’ve performed for packed-out crowds across Auckland, Coromandel, Raglan and Ōtautahi (and one infamous little crowd in Piha) all while keeping the spirit of “friends performing for friends” (anonymous audience member review). Come celebrate as we put on a show where it all began, for an entirely improvised comedy spectacular!
