From 9am - 6pm in the Riverside Market parking space.
Browse through our Christmas Gift Market, featuring a diverse selection of unique gifts and stocking fillers from local producers and creators. Support local businesses and find the perfect presents for your loved ones.
We also have some stunning gift shops down Riverside Lane where you can purchase high quality NZ made products and gifts.

The CCBA Christmas Treasure Trail:
Embark on a Christchurch City Christmas adventure.
Find a letter in the tree at Riverside Market and, alongside other letters you discover around the city, unscramble them to unveil the secret password.
Complete the trail by collecting all the letters and go in the draw to win a huge range of fantastic prizes. More details to come.

Cholmondeley Children’s Centre Christmas Gift Appeal:
Support a heartwarming cause this Christmas. Cholmondeley Children’s Centre provides short-term emergency and planned respite care for Canterbury tamariki.
From Friday, December 1st - Saturday 23rd December, bring a wrapped and labelled gift for a child aged 5-12 and place it under our Riverside Market Christmas tree.

Santa and Mrs. Claus:
At approximately 11:45 am in Santa's sleigh.
Santa and Mrs. Claus are coming to visit. Bring your wishlist and enjoy the magical moment, they might even have some sweet treats for the kids.

Live Music:
From 12pm - 2pm Sideline Swing will be here belting out the Christmas tunes with a jazzy twist.
