Spend quality time with your favourite young person and explore the art of pottery.

This beginner-level workshop will provide a unique opportunity to create something funny, interesting, or beautiful from clay. Tanja will guide you through the tactile craft of pottery, helping you to create a simple creature and personalize it. You can follow a step-by-step process or freeform your own creation.

This hands-on session is a grounding, calming, and inspiring experience that is potentially a bit messy, so dress accordingly. Please note that if you want your work fired, it may take up to a month before you can pick it up. Unfired work is relatively fragile and cannot get wet, so handle with care.

Limited to 10 adult/child pairs. $35 per pair.

Bookings essential.

This workshop is proudly sponsored by the Riverside Community Trust. Please contact Tanja (at education@riverside.org.nz) for any workshop questions or to chat about sponsorship options.
