Colour Strategy - Painting Workshop
Colour is one of the most powerful tools of communication. In this hands-on workshop, we will look to the modern masters and their contemporary counterparts to learn how to decode the colour systems used in their paintings.
Understanding how we can create and shape a mood or atmosphere by using these systems, we can see how they might fit into our own work.
For beginner to intermediate, we will create studies using acrylic paint, looking at a number of artists, including the harmonies of Milton Avery or Gauguin’s complimentary pops.
