Open for teens to experience a unique opportunity exploring expression through art with local artist Maria O'Toole.

Expression: Feel the Mark

How and why do these contemporary Artists full their drawings with energy and emotion? What is their experience of the world and how do they share what is important to them with us. We will discuss their practices to further understand the themes they are engaged with and the processes they have developed. Then we will undertake simple gesture and contour drawing exercises of our own toward expressive mark making.

This is a three day workshop. Bring a water bottle and snack for morning tea.
