See the spectacular local documentary Dame Valerie Adams: More than Gold and assist the UpsideDowns Education Trust continue to help children and young people living with Down syndrome learn to speak, read, write, and be the champions of their own stories!
Dame Valerie Adams: More than Gold candidly follows Kiwi sporting icon Valerie Adams on her heroic journey to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, chronicling the double Olympic gold medallist’s challenges, joys, and heartbreaks balancing life as an elite sportsperson and a loving mother.
To make the night extra special, we have the film’s award-winning director, Briar March (also a member of the UpsideDowns whānau), joining us to answer your burning questions and share stories of her time with Dame Val following the movie!
Every ticket comes with a food and drink combo and a goodie bag, with all proceeds going directly to helping fund speech and language therapy for UpsideDowns' kids.
You’ll also have the opportunity to go in the draw for a spectacular raffle prize on the night.
