Officially the 12th Great Wine Capital of the world, it’s time to celebrate two incredible wineries from The Bay and try some of their top wines.

At this event we take an exploratory approach, getting to grips with the differences in geography, climate and terroir that make wine from the Gimblett Gravels and Bridge Pa Triangle coast unique.
The event will be led by representatives from both wineries, and you can expect to taste some amazing silky reds such as the incredible Elephant Hill Airavata with sneak peaks at unreleased new wines, and the sophisticated prestige wines of Smith & Sheth such as their Heretaunga Albariño and Omahu Cantera from the Grand Cru collection.
A trip to UnserHaus wouldn’t be complete without a little magic from the Gaggenau kitchen. Acclaimed chef Tim Read shot to fame winning 2015 NZ Masterchef before travelling to Scandinavia where he worked in some of the best kitchens in Europe, learning their ground-breaking techniques and cooking philosophies. This included time in the triple Michelin-starred Maaemo restaurant. Tim’s food never disappoints and for this special event he will be preparing some truly exceptional dishes to match with our wines. If you joined us at the last event, you’ll know exactly what you’re in for!
