An exciting solo exhibition of oil pastel drawings exploring stylised people and various animals, such as rats and cats by an upcoming artist, Sienna Burns.
Sienna has just completed Year 12 at Tauranga Girls' College and plans to enrol in a Bachelor of Fine Arts conjoint with a Bachelor of Arts (Gender Studies, Art History and Psychology) at Auckland University in 2024. In 2021.
Sienna was selected as one of top 15 artists in the Acorn Foundation Junior Art Awards with a piece called "Frog" which was exhibited in the Tauranga Art Gallery.
Sienna has also exhibited and sold several pieces in the "Artful Wāhine" exhibition at the People's Gallery in 2022. She has also won First in Art three times at Tauranga Girls' College.
Sienna is passionate about painting and pastels and has a cat called Tico.
Opening preview Friday 20th January 5:30-7:30pm. Everyone welcome.
On display in The Incubator Gallery from 21st January to 11th February.
