Would you like to know more about the adult community education classes held by the Dunedin WEA? From slow cooker cooking to art journalling, or Te Reo to patchwork, and everything in between! Art - music - language - and above all, fun! We offer something for everyone - come along and see which class is for you!
As part of the Festival of Adult Learning, we are holding an exhibition on Friday 8 September in the South Dunedin Community Network Rooms, 278a King Edward St, South Dunedin, from 10am to 3pm. You will be able to see examples of student work and photos of classes in progress, plus WEA representatives will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
The Dunedin WEA (Workers' Educational Association) Te Wāhi Ākoranga o Ōtepoti is a community-based, non-profit organisation that was founded in 2019 with the aim of offering low-cost, high-quality community education classes for the wider Dunedin community. More information can be found on our website at www.dunedinwea.org.nz
