Lines of Flight is an emerging contemporary jazz trio, featuring Jules Hlavac on keys, Will Kao on trombone, Theo Henderson on bass and Jono Blackie on drums. The group formed at the start of 2022, and made their performance debut at Fat Eddies last September. Tonight you will hear an array of originals that combine R&B grooves, some unexpected chord changes, and good ol’ fashioned jazzy two five ones. This is a band you don't want to miss, the talent in this group has to be seen to be believed.
Come on up to Fat Eddie's for Ed's Jazz Club, every Thursday night. Reserved Seating tickets ($15) will get you your own table on the main floor (best seats in the house!) or grab a spot anywhere else with a General Admission ($10) ticket. Fat Eddie's have a delicious menu and of course their ultra special drinks menu, so take Thursday night off and come into town to enjoy some of the best jazz Ōtautahi has to offer.
