Hailing from Christchurch, the whimsical seven-piece band, Ellie Oak, brings indie folk-pop to life with a touch of lighthearted humour and sometimes overly serious lyrics.

Founded by Si Hart and co-led with Tim Cederman, this energetic group loves performing live, captivating audiences with their infectious enthusiasm and catchy melodies.

Ellie Oak unites seven distinct personalities in a musical collaboration for the ages. Driven by their love for indie-folk-pop and a shared tendency to not take themselves too seriously, these Kiwi musicians delight fans with a lively mix of upbeat tunes and slow emotive numbers.
