Ensemble Training is a brand new offering for Ōtepoti Dunedin. Theatre director and teacher, Lisa Allan, invites people who have an interest in movement, theatre and connection, to enrol for the first in a three term series of courses.

During term I, participants will encounter The Viewpoints (Anne Bogart) and Suzuki Method of Actor Training (Tadashi Suzuki) as the group connects, creating a space where the individual is supported, and the group is strong, joyful and vitally present. Lisa has worked with ensemble for over 20 years and is looking forward to exploring this artform with those that are keen to join. Each session will include a warm up, time to connect to self, movement and theatre exercises and a warm down. There are a maximum of 15 spaces available. This opportunity is for adults however senior high school students may be considered after having an interview with Lisa.
