Exhibition Opening - Kāhui Māreikura | Indigenous Sisters

Official Opening and Powhiri: Friday 30 June, 6PM. (Powhiri/ Welcome will start at 6pm). If you arrive late, staff will be there to direct you into the Gallery.

About the exhibition - In the spirit of indigenous sisterhood, the artists featured in this exhibition share their stories of identity, place and indigeneity in this time of Puanga, here at Whakaahurangi, under the mantle of Mounga Taranaki. This group of wahine have been invited to exhibit at Percy Thomson Gallery, from around Aotearoa, Australia and the United States.

We invite you to join us at the Official Opening to celebrate an exhibition by Toi o Taranaki ki te Tonga. Kāhui Māreikura | Indigenous Sisters (1-23 July). Powhiri will start right on 6pm. We ask everyone to wait near the entrance where the proceedings will officially begin.
