Fabulous Frog Day

We’re excited to introduce our newest addition to the Tūhura whānau, our six new green and golden bell frogs! Come along to the unveiling and see our new green friends and join us for a day of froggy fun.

We’ve planned a day of ribbit-ing activities to celebrate this exciting debut of our new friends! Watch the frogs be fed and learn about this new species with Sam, make a hopping origami frog or listen to some frog storytelling with Ngaio. You can learn how to draw friendly frogs with Christine at 12pm, and have your face-painted for free at 12.30pm.

Don’t miss out on our frog-hopper races in the Beautiful Science Gallery at 1pm too.

There’s something for everyone so don’t miss the chance to meet our new froggy friends and celebrate this amazing species!
