Christmas on the Big Screen!
Join us at the Ashburton Domain Picnic Grounds (entrance off corner of Grigg and Elizabeth Streets) for a special outdoor screening of a classic Christmas movie that the whole family will enjoy. Make sure you bring your chairs and blankets, and come dressed for the occasion in your best Christmas inspired outfit.
Ashburton Youth Council will be on hand with a steady supply of free popcorn, kindly supplied by Regent Cinema. There will also be food vendors on site with coffee and lots more yummy treats available for purchase.
Luke Howden from Hokonui and the Santa Elves will provide entertainment from 6pm, with the movie starting at 7pm.
Ready to head to the movies?
Entry to the Ashburton Domain Picnic Ground is from the corner of Elizabeth and Grigg Streets. Plenty of parking is available on the surrounding streets, or alternatively use the angle parking on Walnut Avenue and walk across the sports fields.
Hokonui charity can drive
Entry is completely free, but please share the love by bringing a canned food item to donate to the Salvation Army foodbank. The team from Hokonui will be collecting donations at the gate.
