Flamenco Dance Classes - Gold Coin Donation

Desde Flamenco Dance School is offering three ‘gold coin donation’ classes from Tuesday 14 to Tuesday 28 February for new and returning students. Classes will focus on technique and flamenco fitness.

This is in preparation for some exciting workshops: Desde Flamenco Dance School is bringing over Roshanne de Silva Wijeyeratne from Adelaide, Australia to give dance workshops to new students on Sunday 5 March. Our goal is that as many as possible can participate in, and benefit from, Roshanne’s expertise.

Roshanne spends a great portion of each year living in Spain where she performs and studies. She has performed around the globe including London and New York, and throughout Australia with her Compañía Alma Flamenca and as co-founding member of Velada Flamenco Performance Company. She is the Director of Alma Flamenca Dance School in Adelaide.

As well as being a phenomenal dancer, Roshanne’s expertise as a teacher lies in her ability to unlock the complexities of flamenco rhythms, as well as the relationship between dancer, singer and musician, for students of all levels.

Desde Sevilla Dance School is using proceeds from past student fees to bring Roshanne to Aotearoa.
