Wellington’s beachfront cocktail hour

Join us after the chaos of brunch for a tranquil cocktail hour experience! With a maximum of 8 groups, your time will be unlike any other summer day at the café. We will clear out our normal service and be ready for you and your party at 5pm. From there, we will present you with the incredible pre-ordered platter(s) of your choosing and get the drinks flowing until our last call at 6:45pm and farewell you no later than 7:30pm. You can’t beat Wellington on a good day and you certainly can’t beat it on the waterfront enjoying delicious food and drink!

What do you need to do to get in on this? It’s simple, email scorcheventbookings@gmail.com with the date of your desired Friday (first date will be 15 December, final date 2 February) and the number of people in your group. If there is a table available, we will send you the platter offerings for that week for you to choose from. The platter options are seafood, carnivore and vegetarian and feed between 1-3 people (at least one platter must be ordered for the table, as per our license requirements). Once you’ve selected your platter(s), we will send you an invoice to secure your booking and once the transfer is received your booking will be confirmed! All drinks will be tabulated and paid for on the day.

Booking enquiries are accepted up until the thursday before your date at 2pm!
This event is 18+ please bring ID if under 25!
Tables will automatically be reserved for the waterfront. In the event of weather unsuitable for outdoor service you have the option of transferring dates (pending availability) or a table in our covered conservatory. No refunds, sorry.
