Golden Bay A&P Show

Bigger and better - a true country style, family friendly show with lots to see and do. Get up close to the prize winning cattle, goats and sheep – cheer on the horse riders, wood choppers and shearers. Browse the stunning displays of baking, flowers, handcrafts, photography, art & craft in the display booth. Visit the huge array of Trade stands to get close and personal with large machinery, farm implements, agricultural equipment, top quality merchandise and sample stuff or seek helpful tips and advice on everything ‘country’. Have fun entertaining your family by visiting the well known Sturgeons Amusements or the all day free kids stuff at the entertainment hub.

For the bigger kids and adults we’ve brought from Dunedin the popular ‘Bucking Bull’ and ‘Slippery Pig’ to test your rodeo skills. For the more mature we have the nationally acclaimed Christchurch singing and dancing trio ‘The Starlets’ who will entertain throughout the day. There’s even a huge LEGO table in the booth for kids to build stuff. Challenge your friends to a Giant Jenga Game or try ‘Wonder-full’ Hula hooping workshops. Check out the vintage machinery or maybe enter the Digger operator competition. And don’t forget crowd favourites - the Takaka Citizens Band who have never missed a single show, the Motueka Pipe Band and - The Grand Parade - in the early afternoon. The ‘Vaulties’ gymnastics on horseback will also entertain you. The Golden Bay A&P show has something for everyone.

Gate sales $15.00 on the day. Under 15yrs free entry
