Imagine Party! Featuring: Poems on a typewriter!

Imagine This! Summer festival programme

We are delighted to be running the festival entirely in-person this year. There will be plenty of in-library opportunities and spot prizes, and daily interactions and updates via our Facebook group: Porirua Library Children’s Chat too.

Did something exciting happen to you? Or something, sad, or wonderful? Do you have a funny best friend, or a pet chicken, or do you really, really love ice-cream? Come along and our typist will write a poem about it - on an old typewriter... You can keep your poem! Daizy Design will be on hand to paint your face. There'll be book giveaways, live music from Karen Jones, a photo stand, and a memento-making table. Dress to express your imagination, and make memories to last a lifetime. All welcome.
