Celebrate International Youth Day at MERC on Saturday 12 August from 12pm

Join us at Sir Peter Blake MERC to celebrate youth making a difference for International Youth Day!

Connect with other young people between ages 16 to 25 with a similar passion for the environment and hear from youth leaders about their experiences and actions. Guest speakers from Sustainable Coastlines and Manta Watch NZ will be there to share and inspire and we will have a facilitated workshop to discuss how youth voices can drive change in their communities. Food will also be provided!

We hope this will be a day where you get to connect with the ocean and be empowered to take steps to grow as a leader in your community. The activities and icebreakers will be facilitated by knowledgeable MERC leaders and provide the chance to physically engage with the ocean (weather permitting). More information and itinerary below!
