It's All About Coloured Pencils Phoenix Colour Pencil Group

The artworks on display have been achieved
using artistic quality coloured pencils. Drawing
in coloured pencils is a process that requires
patience and is an economical and uncluttered
way of drawing that is growing in popularity.
The works featured in this exhibition include
drawings from 'almost' beginners to more
established artists.
'The more you look the more you see' certainly
applies to coloured pencil drawings. Through
the Phoenix Colour Pencil Group artists learn
new skills and techniques that improve their
work as they draw layer by layer, focusing on the
colour, detail, texture and depth from the first
stroke to the last. It is fun and therapeutic!
