It is with great pleasure that the Jade String Quartet announce our 2023 concert series
Jade @ Ferndale House
This elegant and historic home in Mt. Albert was built in the 1860s and is the perfect venue
to showcase the Jade string quartet with its charming ambience and lovely acoustic.
In this series we will be exploring John Rimmer’s second string quartet, and premiering
works by NZ composers Anthony Ritchie, and Louise Webster.
Our 2023 season will also feature treasured works by Mozart, Brahms, Beethoven, Ravel,
and Saint-Saëns.
Please come and join us at Ferndale House! There will be door sales, but pre-booking by
emailing jadestringqtet@gmail.com is recommended as we expect good houses and can’t
guarantee it won’t sell out.
