Join us at Empire for our youth jazz funk dance classes! Our classes are warm and welcoming to all levels, and designed to inspire a love of dance. Our Jazz Funk is really expressive and upbeat, using all the latest moves and music that youth love to groove to at home. Jaymie has a feminine but slightly sassy style of jazz funk and commercial dance and will teach your dancer confident, great posture, dance technique alongside engaging choreography.
Jazz Funk also called Street Jazz, is an expressive and innovative form of dance that combines hip hop grooves with jazz flair, femininity, and technique. Students learn fast paced, or upbeat combinations of expressive movement - and can sometimes have the more feminine elements of Commercial Dance & Hip Hop.
