This class will be held at the tutor's home studio in Ōtaki Beach.

Join Vaune Mason in her Ōtaki Beach studio for three sessions at the bench!

Three mornings of creativity, crafting beautiful silver jewellery for yourself or as a gift for your loved ones.

*Please note there is also an afternoon version of this block, or you can take additional casual classes alongside this one. *

If you are a complete beginner and this is your first jewellery class, you'll be guided through the process of making a copper or brass ring, learning the basics of heating, texturing, soldering and finishing - before moving on to other simple and effective beginner projects. You can focus on creating simple items that you can complete within the 3 sessions (ideal for Xmas gifts) or begin your jewellery journey with guidance from Vaune. If you have already got some jewellery-making under your belt, Vaune will help you on existing projects, or to work on something that suits your level, whether that's setting stones, chain making, riveting and working with natural materials like shell or sea-glass! Vaune has a wealth of experience to share with you.

Included in the class fee are basic materials as well as all consumables such as sandpaper, solder and chemicals. Extra metals and materials are available for purchase in the studio.

Our booking system asks for payment to be made via credit card, Afterpay or PayPal on booking. If you do not have access to these payment methods or need to pay your course fee over time please email us to arrange this
