Created for young nature lovers aged 6 to 12 years, Junior Rangers offers hands-on learning in the Pūkaha Reserve and is available during the NZ School Holidays. Spend the day exploring the forest, getting to know the birds and watching them being fed: especially our cheeky kaka and tuna (longfin eels)!
Each session is tailored to the weather conditions and offers flexibility to suit children’s interests in the Reserve. Our knowledgeable guides provide stories and fun facts about the forest and its wildlife – there’s lots to learn and enjoy.
*This time around we are excited to add an extra day (Wednesday) to our regular Junior Rangers school Holiday programme

Week 1:
Wednesday 27th - Finding the Atua with Tracy
Thursday 28th - Bird Identification with Letitia
Week 2:
Tuesday 3rd October - Rongoā Māori with Everlyne
Wednesday 4th October - Wildlife Art with Marie
Thursday 5th October - Moving with Nature with Nadia
Includes lunch (vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options available).
