Kaipupu Guided Walk Open Day

Join us on a very special guided walk through Kaipupu Sanctuary.

We are celebrating two years rat free with this special guided walk through the sanctuary.
This is a unique opportunity to explore the sanctuary and hear about the work that is carried out protecting Kaipupu.
As you walk around the peninsula you can enjoy views over the inner Queen Charlotte Sound. The sanctuary is a refuge for a variety of insects, lizards, birds and native plants, which are all increasing due to the sanctuary’s predator-proof fence and the hard work of our volunteers.

Bring comfortable footwear and clothing, sun protection, a water bottle and medication if allergic to wasps.
