Sesión DOBLE  del festival de cine LASFF!   Por primera vez en whangarei! 

Con la proyección de la película Brasileña: Casa Vazia, y la Argentina: Argentina 1985. EVENTO GRATUITO.

 Casa Vazia.

Raúl es un ganadero desempleado que vive en una casa aislada en la solitaria inmensidad de los campos. El trabajo artesanal tradicional de ocuparse de los pastos ya no es útil para los terratenientes. Al paisaje de enormes pastizales con ganado se le superponen enormes plantaciones de soja. Devastado por la pobreza y el desempleo, se une a una pandilla de otros campesinos que roba ganado en la oscuridad de las noches en los pastos. Al regresar otra mañana, encuentra su casa vacía; su esposa e hijos están desaparecidos. RATE: 16

Argentina 1985.

La película está inspirada en la historia real de Julio Strassera, Luis Moreno Ocampo y su joven equipo jurídico que se atrevieron a acusar, contra viento y marea, a contrarreloj y bajo constante amenaza, a la más sangrienta dictadura militar argentina. Una batalla de David contra Goliat, con los héroes menos esperados. RATE: 16

Los tickets serán validos esta doble sesión. Se necesitaran tickets nuevos específicos para la sesión matinal infantil de Ainbo.

Featuring the screening of the Brazilian film: "Casa Vazia" and the Argentine film: "Argentina 1985" FREE EVENT.

Casa Vazia

Raúl is an unemployed cattle rancher living in an isolated house in the lonely vastness of the fields. The traditional craft of tending to pastures is no longer useful for the landowners. Enormous soybean plantations now overlap the landscape of vast grazing lands with cattle. Devastated by poverty and unemployment, he joins a group of fellow farmers who steal cattle under the cover of darkness in the pastures. Upon returning one morning, he finds his house empty; his wife and children are missing. RATE: 16

Argentina 1985

The film is inspired by the true story of Julio Strassera, Luis Moreno Ocampo, and their young legal team who dared to accuse, against all odds and under constant threat, the bloodiest military dictatorship in Argentina. A battle of David against Goliath, with the least expected heroes. RATING: 16
