Heeni Hoterene will share with you her knowledge on Maramataka, the Māori lunar cycle, and give tips on how to use it to increase your productivity and balance in your everyday life. The true Maramataka is the cycle of wāhine and this women-only workshop is a fantastic opportunity to hear Heeni translate indigenous wisdom into a modern-day context in a fun, uplifting forum.

The Māori translation of the word maramataka means ‘everything under the influence of the moon’. Learning to observe, note changes in nature to help determine which activity is best at certain moons, seasons and times.

This is an exclusive women-only workshop with limited numbers. There will be time for personal questions and answers and Heeni will also provide a focus ritual for “Starting the ME Year”.

Heeni has been living by the Maramataka for over 20 years and teaches educators, environmentalists and all interested in how to maximise their lives potential by planning according to the Maori calendar and realigning to the southern seasons.

With over 100,000 followers on social media, Heeni is in huge demand and we are extremely excited to host this event at our new festival and Maramataka Maori shared event space! We are situated at The Balcony, 76 Marsden Road (next to Terra Restaurant)
Tickets are very limited and will go fast so secure your seat today.

If you can’t attend the workshop but would still like to order your Maramataka Wall Planner or other Maramataka Maori products, head to https://www.maramataka.co.nz/
