The Marlborough Biodiversity Forum aims to provide a platform for community groups, landowners, iwi, youth and agencies to network, support and learn with each other to grow conservation in Marlborough.

Morning session:
Three guest speakers followed by a discussion on the topics covered:


* Dan Moore - A voice from the dust. Restoring the Mauri of Moawhitu. The freshwater ecology, restoration and cultural health of the project


* Jan Clayton-Greene - Changes in South Marlborough biodiversity over the past 25 years. A focus on the Ephemeral Tarn and Wilding Conifers


* Dan Burgin - Bird Atlas Project - How it's going in Marlborough and the wider nation



Afternoon session:
A guided tour around Grovetown Lagoon, learning about one of the few remaning natural wetlands on the Wairau Plain.

Morning tea provided.
