Matariki Dance Workshop

Join WIDance for a delightful journey, as we wander the starry night sky, exploring the wonders of Matariki.

Over three hours, you'll have the opportunity to engage in a variety of dance activities, including movement improvisation, dance-based games and storytelling as we begin our journey into the captivating tales of the nine Whetu of Matariki.

You will have the opportunity to unleash your creative talents and explore the depths of your imagination as we create our own Matariki-inspired choreography.

Our workshop is inclusive, designed for all ages and abilities. Our venue is accessible with plenty of parking space available. If you have any access needs, please let us know.
