Foxton Beach School parents & whānau have been busy organising a fabulous Matariki Gala at the school grounds on Friday 14 July, 11am - 2pm and everyone is invited. Free entry.

Hāngi for sale + Kapa Haka + Hip Hop + Food Trucks + Photobooth + Nukulele Boom + Poi, Weaving & Facepainting + Tāwhirimātea New Year wall + Art, games & more

The timetable for the day will look like this:
– Recommended entry on Thomas Place side of school –
11am Opening - (food trucks, face painting, free photobooth, poi, weaving, art, rugby, games throughout the day)
11.20 ‘Nukulele Boom’ feat. the whole of Foxton Beach School
12.30pm (approx) Hāngi will arrive
1.00pm Hip Hop performance
1.30pm Kapa Haka performance
2pm Close

Did we say everyone's invited? Yes! The Matariki Gala is a fun festival for the whole community.
Matariki is a time to reflect on the past, to celebrate the present with kai, and to look ahead and plan for the future.
