Say goodbye to 2023 with our very own Mel Parsons & her fabulous band at The Shelter. Parsons will be fresh off the road from touring with The Teskey Brothers, and is celebrating the release of her latest single & video for 'Offer Down' (out Nov 17) with a seated delight full of soaring harmony and probably a few jokes. Look forward to a sneak preview of the new record along with some of your faves from previous releases. The show will be trio format, with Josh Logan on bass + backing vocals & Jed Parsons on drums and backing vocals.

The Shelter is for music lovers and appreciators. A unique space set up especially for a comfortable listening room-style show. There will be time for chatting and catching up before the show and during the intermission.

Mel will have vinyl & CDs with her and will happily sign for fans after the show. Please support our touring artists and buy direct (cash only please). 

3pm Show:
Gates open from 2:30pm - please don’t arrive earlier
Show starts at 3pm sharp, finishing 5pm (includes intermission)

7pm Show:
Gates open from 6pm - please don’t arrive earlier
Show starts at 7pm sharp, finishing 9pm (includes intermission)

The show is BYO - bring whatever you like to drink and whatever you like to drink out of. We have a zero-waste policy at The Shelter - please take home all your empties & rubbish. We’d encourage you to arrive when doors open and settle in with a wee picnic and/or whatever you like to drink.

Feel free to bring friends and help spread the word - by being an active part of this you are helping to build a special community of music lovers at The Shelter, which means we'll be able to continue bringing in more world-class acts for us all to enjoy!

People are always encouraged to bring a plate of food to share for half time if they feel inclined to do so - this helps with the communal spirit of our events.
