Moon Jam Nite

Get your 15 minutes of fame at Newtowns famous Moon Jam Nite, every Tuesday from 8 till Midnight (if enough people stick around and keep the bar staff busy).

A full stage with (electric) guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, mics, lights and top mixer supplied, bring your own gear, cymbals, songs, poems, muso mates and audience.

The evening starts off as your basic open mic, and transforms into a full on jam.

Put your moniker into the run book, and own your time slot. You can call upon the many talented muso's available to help you play your slot.

Moon Jam Nite is all about real live music, no net, no backing tracks, no karaoke, no magicians, and no standup comedy. Poets are cool but, especially if they can spit it with the music.
