Join broadcaster and author Stacey Morrison (Maori at Home, Maori at Work) in conversation with Hinemoa Elder (Wawata, Aroha) and Emma Espiner (There's a Cure for This: A Memoir) for an unfiltered and open conversation about health and wellness, whānau, relationships and the guiding force of ancestral knowledge.
As they do the hard mahi, we'll devour a generous serving of sweet and savoury treats with tea and coffee lovingly prepared by Jean and her dedicated volunteers.
Featherston Booktown’s ever popular and delightfully old-fashioned High Tea is proudly sponsored by Mrs Blackwell’s Village Bookshop. Mr Blackwell from Greytown Distilling Company will also join us and serve up a batch of their latest Booklovers Gin.
The ticket price includes a complimentary glass of Booklovers Gin and mixer, bubbles, or a Mela Apple Juice.
The authors’ books will be available for sale and signing.
