End your week or start the new week with some understanding of how your mind works from Geshe Nyima Dorjee. Start your practice now by understanding your mind.
Sunday morning, for one hour, is a class of simple insight into how our mind is the troublemaker and can be the peacemaker.

"All people deal with suffering; you and I both experience suffering. However, we want happiness. We do experience happiness but for the amount of happiness we experience, there seems to be more suffering. We think our suffering comes from outside experiences. This is because we have not checked properly. When we look inside at our mind, and our thoughts we can see that suffering comes from the inside. If we look back to when we were very very young, our thoughts were less and as we get older we have more and more thoughts. ‘I need this, I don't have that, they have this, they said that. I am worried about this, I am sad, this is difficult’. We do experience difficulties, that is true, but our thoughts, and our mind determines how much suffering we experience from those difficulties. What is the nature of these things?"

Every Sunday there is a brief chat/class, and the ability to ask questions. Each week is different, as Geshe Nyima doesn't set the subject beforehand. The introduction of a philosophical point about our lives is followed by Tibetan Buddhist chanting, which you can follow, meditative mantra reciting, and finishes with a few minutes of quiet meditation.
