Project Tongariro

We are all connected; the plants, insects, and animals. Each have a role in the life we live. In order to care for our world better, we need to understand it better. Join the kids greening taupō team in conjunction with enviroschools to learn about the creatures that roam the ngahere under the light of the moon.

Listen to a story, get up close to a few critters, and make your own wētā. Learn about how night time is a perfect time to search for all kinds of life under the stars.

Trip length: 1 hour
Minimum Age: 2 years (must be accompanied by an adult or guardian)
Max Participants: N/A
Meeting Place: Tūrangi Public Library, 3 Tūrangi Town Centre
