North Canterbury Creative Market - Matariki Kids Market

Are your little ones bursting with creativity and eager to showcase their talents? We're excited to announce our Matariki Kids Market, providing an incredible opportunity for primary school kids (years 1-8) to shine as young entrepreneurs!

Join us for a day of family fun, shopping, and community spirit. Kids can set up their own stalls and sell a variety of items such as collectibles, books, clothing, clean undamaged toys, and homemade or created items (sorry, no food sales). It's a fantastic chance for them to learn about business, gain confidence, and connect with other young vendors.

Stallholder registrations are now open! To secure a spot, please email robyn.matheson@xtra.co.nz. The cost is $20 per stall and all stallholders will receive an awesome goodie bag - one family per table. Kids must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.
But that's not all! We have a range of exciting activities and treats planned, including:

Popcorn chicken
Cupcakes, lolly cake, and biscuits
Real fruit ice creams
Face painting
Inflatable slide
