We're looking forward to seeing you all again for North Shore Miniatures biennial Club Show, Display and Sales at the Albany Hall - 21 Library Lane (diagonally opposite the North Harbour Stadium), parking available in the Albany Hall car park.
Time for our eagerly awaiting an anticipated look into the 'Little World' we here at North Shore Miniatures like to design, create and share with you all every two years (although due to popular demand we had a show last year AND we're here again this year also) ... with some new and never seen in Auckland displays PLUS many of your old favourites also...
our 'crowd favourite' - North Shore Miniatures interpretation of the famous 'Hogwarts Castle' from the Harry Potter series of books and movies (with new bits and pieces for you to see) ...
miniature copies of the wonderful local Albany War Memorial Library (this original cottage is still standing just behind the Albany Hall and is regularly open to the public here in Albany) ...
a brilliant V.E. Day Street Celebration consisting of a row of art deco styles home with a piano, tables and chairs filled with yummy mini food set out along the road in front of the homes...
the awesome "Weeniefield's Food Hall" will be open and back on display... a busy hustle bustle/loads to see miniature rendition of a Westfield Food Hall ...
NEW*** Weenie's Sunday School present their fabulous new 'Weenieview Estate'... a Trailer Park filled with many amazing Trailer homes, a fantastic ablution block, a car park area, main shop & office (even a lit ATM machine & phone box on site!), also including a gorgeous swimming pool area & park for the miniature children to play!
...for those lads and men who think this is all only for the girls and ladies think again... we've got plenty to keep you lads enthused also - from Man Shed's to Light Houses to the re-vamped 'Castle' with awesome drawbridge...
come one and all - it's a fun and amazing day out for everyone, young through to the older groups enjoy the craziness this hobby brings and the imaginative items and scenes these miniaturists make!
Some fantastic traders and items, kits, supplies available throughout Saturday and Sunday also.
Open Saturday & Sunday and ... for the second time ever shared with the public ..... you can join us and come along to our two-hour (7pm -9pm Saturday evening) wonderful 'Moonlight Walk'... where the Hall lights are dimmed and you get to wander around the many items that are lit for your enjoyment... a magical wander through flickering miniature fantasy as well as reality!
Note*** sorry no sausage sizzle, cafe, or traders available in the evening/during Moonlight Walk.
Eftpos available at the door & admission fees are as stated above, various Traders, fundraising Raffles, Sausage Sizzle, Tea/Coffee/Milo & refreshments available.
