ONE Hundred exhibition celebrates our beautiful back yard with unique artworks.
Keen local artists and creatives have been supplied with a 30cm x 30cm blank canvas and given free rein to let their creativity run. Over 90 artworks have been submitted to the exhibition from artists and creatives across the Central Plateau and the team have been blown away by the talent on show.

Displays officer Piata Winitana-Murray says "We are so excited to see what the artists have created. They have literally been working with a blank canvas and can use any medium in whatever style they like. It’s so exciting to see the magic that can happen when those creative juices start flowing!”
Each of the unique artworks is for sale for $100 making a great Christmas present or souvenir for visitors of the region.

Ms. Winitana-Murray explains “It’s a great opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate our beautiful back yard, and the talented people who live here, and maybe even bring home a unique piece of art.”

It has been 10 years since the last ONE Hundred exhibition, having previously been popular fundraisers for causes such as the Ora Garden, children’s art materials, and workshops.
ONE Hundred 2023 – Canvassing the Central Plateau will be on show in the Main Gallery at Taupō Museum from 16 December.
